About

Alisha + Tristin

Hey there! We are Alisha and Tristin, sisters and best friends on a permanent jewelry journey. Alisha is a mom of two boys Jackson and Jude. Tristin has a boy and girl, J and Ellie. You will hear their names and the names of some of our other loved ones in the labels of our chains. We grew up here in Sonoma County and even though we both left for college we eventually made our way back and we couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. We are so excited to bring beautiful, high quality, permanent jewelry to you and to the people you care for the most!

The Origin of “Wratherbee + Co”

Our parents bought a cabin up in Northern California (our dad’s hometown) in 2008. Our dad enjoyed wood working and one of his first projects up there was to router out a sign that said “WratherbeeInn cabin” that he promptly hung on a tree in the front. Shortly after, the people down the road came over to welcome in the new neighbors and said “Are you the Wratherbees?” It became a joke because they weren’t the Wratherbee’s, it was just where our dad would “rather be” and it truly was. He wanted everything to be fun at the cabin. He built a huge tree fort for the kids with zip lines running in and out. Our parents got kayaks for the river that the cabin looks over, they bought a jeep for backroad rides while blasting good music. They created an outdoor movie set up, a BB gun range, and made custom corn hole boards along with many other games for friends and family to enjoy. Our dad even mixed up his own personal shot and called it “The Wratherbee” which was normally waiting for you upon arrival, because once you walked into the cabin the fun began. He always knew how to have a good time but more importantly he truly wanted everyone he loved to spend time and make memories together. We sadly lost our dad to cancer in 2022 at just 59. When we were trying to come up with a name for this business we wanted to honor him in some way and nothing seemed more fitting than Wratherbee. He would always rather be with his favorite people and when you look down at the piece of jewelry that you got with your favorite people we hope it will remind you of your Wratherbees.
